You sound like the kind of guy that doesn't appreciate the hard work a Druid puts in to port people.

Why are you so angry? What did Druids ever do to you?

Did you pay for Druidic services that left you feeling unfulfilled? Did you enter a port, only to exit it feeling as though the Druid gave you an illness you could never get rid of?

There has to be a reason behind your resentment towards the hard working porters of Norrath.

I'm not angry, I just expect people to do what their class was designed to do. If you're a Druid or Wizard, you port people. If you're a Shaman, you follow people around buffing them. If you're a Cleric, you rez people. If you're a necro, you summon corpses. If you're an Enchanter, you make enchanted metal and breeze people.

That what these classes are designed for, nothing else.

You don't bring enchanters on group excursions with you right? Best leave them parked for Jc purposes. I mean, who wants clarity or CC, chanters were designed to enchant metal and nothing else!!!! Necros are only useful to summon corpses. It's not like they have any sort of utility or ability to solo, so if you do anything other than summon corpses with your necro, your doing it wrong and wasting the whole servers time and pixels!!! Also, this guy is right, what are Druids good for other than porting? Buffs you say? Dps? Offheals? Not necessary!!! We have clerics, whose only job is to Rez you. So have no fear, just die, the cleric has saved all his mana for this situation! To do what they were designed to do, and rez!!!!

/sarcasm off, people don't play this game or there characters to do what you think they should do. Maybe try a single player game? Or eq live with mercs that do only what you want them to.

Communism sounds great in theory but humankind has never seemed able to make it work it seems. Neither have the denizens of Norrath.

Druids and wizards are living in a capitalistic free trade system on P99' and in simpler terms they make what the economy and the people can afford via porting.

When they port, how they port, and who they port is figured out through a simple process of supply, demand and available money to pay for such services.

You might not like the idea of elves and humans porting whoever they want for plats, but honestly you can't stop the oldest profession known to Druids.

I suggest trying it once. You might enjoy it. There's something to be said for the lack of commitment attached to paying someone for your ports through a porting business.

Everyone is there to do what they want. The tank get exp, as does everyone else.

However, if you tell me as a tank I have to be outside of the group and I should be happy tanking because "it is my job" then, yes, you better damn well pay me handsomely.

I have to admit, you have convinced me. Druids should port everyone around, and in fact I can't believe they have the nerve to charge people.

Chanters don't charge people in groups to do CC or give C... Why does a wizard or druid charge for porting people?

I agree. Ports for money is asinine and ridiculous!
