Color saturating on other monitors when playing

I noticed everything I have on my other monitor fades while playing. I can even be on the same monitor; everything gets washed out. I tested this with Overwatch to see if it did the same thing and it doesn't. Is this a known issue? Can it be fixed or is it just the result of playing such an old game.

This is from your in-game Gamma setting. Just fiddle with the slider in your options menu and you'll notice it effects your second monitor.

It did for me at least..not sure why.

I've found sometimes (eg. if my monitor turns off) I have to fix the game's gamma manually. Luckily it's easy: just hit CTRL + O, go to the display tab, and change the gamma (it doesn't matter which direction/how much you change it: any change will fix things).

Ya the in game gamma effects all monitors, strange. Changing it didn't stop it but it does look better. Thanks guys.

If you use WinEQ2 you can prevent everquest from touching your gamma... which will prevent this from happening. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
