Whiskerschan's Easter Egg Hunt

Hail adventurers! Whiskerschan here, gentleman, scholar, and most importantly nuzzler of pained unicorns. I have recently stumbled upon some terrifying rumors. Upon closer scrutiny, I found them to be more than rumors and in fact truths, alarming truths that need your immediate attention! A couple of cultists associated with The Forsaken, enemies of all Cabilis, have recently succeeded in summoning the ghost of Atrebe Sathir. For those of you not intimately familiar with his work, he’s the one responsible for merging various races together, and his creations include the wretched Sarnak. Once summoned to our realm his ghost wasted no time, resuming where he had left off in his mad work. Merging together iksar and rabbits into a hideous creature that simply will not stop laying eggs, he’s provided The Forsaken the means to create an army. Two of these cultists have been spotted around Lavastorm Mountains grabbing hapless creatures and putting the eggs inside them, with mightier eggs into more powerful creatures! Herein lies the opportunity for Whiskerschan to finally max his Brood of Kotiz faction. No longer shall he skulk in the shadows in West Cabilis, but will instead be greeted as a liberator, but only with your help! Whiskerschan needs brave adventurers levels 15 – 25 to help him find all the eggs these cultists are trying to incubate within the many creatures of Lavastorm. Return to me the tainted eggs and I shall reward you with many shinies, with some beyond your wildest dreams for the rarest, most powerful eggs. This Saturday at 5pm EST join the Kittens Who Say Meow in their efforts to save the world from the scourge of The Forsaken! Tell your friends between levels 15 and 25 that this Saturday they have adventure, riches and even experience to acquire as they join in on Whiskerschan’s Easter Egg Hunt.

Explorers eager for adventure showed up and went to work hunting for the eggs:
[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] It is a good thing these brave adventurers showed, for a fantastic crew of villains was in play: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Fantastic though they may have been, they proved no match for the band of adventurers. Norrath shall not fall to The Forsaken that easily! We soon found out that the efforts of the cultists had moved inside Najena, so 3 brave groups (and a few other solitary adventurers) followed the cultists deep into the dungeon, cleansing along the way: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] When things were appearing to be going against the cult's plan they tried recruiting their finest egg bearer yet: Akksstaff! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] but after a considerable raid force was assembled and a fierce battle fought [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Aksstaff had the last laugh, for he had eaten all the eggs the cultists tried to give him! The cleansing continued until we were able to narrow down the last of the eggs to 3 of Najena's most infamous residents. First on the list: Drelzna [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] After the Necromancer had cast her last, Najena found herself facing the cleansing power: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] At last we were faced with our greatest foe yet: The Widowmistress! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Our brave shadowknight tank fared remarkably well though, and the brave adventurers prevailed. Cabilis, and therefore the world, is safe for another day thanks to your efforts! Thanks everyone that showed up (and huge thanks to everyone that helped me make this thing a reality within a week)! We certainly put in some good work today, thwarting the cultist efforts to build an army. A lot of brave adventurers earned their battle scars, experience and quite a few shinies while keeping the world safe from the cultist scourge. Until next time! =^.^=
