I read your post and I agree with your point of not everyone sharing the same reasons as to why they play Everquest.

Swish is trolling, it's the only logical explanation behind his attacks on Agnarr.

You'd think he had some personal loss incurred by others simply trying Agnarr the way he fervently attacks it.

Who wants to play velious for the next 2 years while we wait for Pantheon? I dont.

P99 isnt the be all and end all of EverQuest experiences/communities.

For example: EQMac shat all over P99 as a game and community.

Zones I want to explore but never got to:

1. Vex Thal
2. Kill Rathe Council
3. Plane of Time
4. Get a Max AA toon in PoP era
5. Play Beastlords again
6. Be able to 2 box (2 toons only)
7. Have a community of non-neckbeards with high levels of autism.
8. Play a game that excludes people who cabt afford 14.99 a month.
9. Play Everquest with AAs again
10. Be able to raid at set times in a guild.

Considering it will take 18 months for all xpacs to be released I would say the server has 2 years life span before a steady decline.

Suits me. Pantheon will be out by then.

Me too!

Never got to see Vex Thal and never played a beastlord. Want to do both and many other things that P99 can't provide.

This doesn't mean I dislike P99, just means the scope of things I like EQ related are not limited to what P99 offers.

P99 is awesome and I am sure to continue playing it, just not solely as it stands now.

I have tried but all thats left of the EQMac community are the stale old fucks that turn their nose up at everything. It's way to cliche on takp.

Most of the original eqmac community has retired because many of them invested huge chunks of time over 10 years to get their toons/boxes to where they wanted them and dont want to reinvest that time again. Some of them truely had BiS toons that they casually raided over the years.

O.G. EQMac commhnity was by large a time snap of the o.g. eq community prior to the 1337 crew, immaturity, lolz bebob players of the post 2001 stage of eq.

Takp is a shell of the eqmac community and for a large part the worse parts.
