The only things you can skip are the ones in the beginning (the darkforge armor turnin/fight, the cough elixir and the rat dusty tome) and have nothing to do with the faction. All your turn-ins for the epic you have to be indifferent to the mob. Initially you start apprehensive to them, but as you progress with your epic you'll become indifferent so you won't need to hide/IVU after putting in the items in the trade window.
