A thundercloud brewed outside the gates of New Rivervale, but when it heard the song of our battle against Xon Quexill, it shook its head and retreated to Lavastorm Mountains.

Xon Quexill fell. No doubt his final curse had some power, but we laughed it off, kicking his body and drinking Jumjum. We quickly pillaged his corpse and found a most interesting robe.

There was a flurry of bidding and it was bought for the price of Ten Dragon Horns.

The robe of Xon Quexill was darker than the inky depths of Kaesora. I had never seen a robe enshaedn as this. I made a note in my ledger to add this to the Secret Annals of Rivervale.

But soon the guard outflanked us. We were surrounded. In a mad dash we raced back towards the commons, but one after another the evil elves struck us down and befuddled us. With their magics they narrowed the twisting hallways and more than one of our number heard the jeering laugh of Death.

Beneath the Eye of Innoruuk I made a final stand against the revenant remains of the Shadow Knight Guildmasters.

Haydien plunged his hand into his walrus-leather purse and whispered words of Mistiness, and as he cast the yellowed blades of Karana into the cold halls of Neriak, I felt a familiar pull on my battered soul...

Home! Home at last! By the bristling mustache of Bristlebane, Haydien had pulled us from a desperate stand. From the cold pillar in an icy lake of Neriak, surrounded by our foes, he had saved us!

I hugged him and we took off our shoes and ran about the warm grasses of Rivervale as might two young hobbit children, without a worry in the world, without the looming grip of tax collections.

But, I am no young hobbit. Many are my battles, and many are my scars. Many are the broken bone which twist my body over and force me to think of the terrible times, the evil things I have done in Defense of Rivervale.

Soon I was shaking. Pallid. Haydien could not cheer me.

I went to the Fool's Gold. I placed my platinum upon the bar. Mac Deeppockets looked at me.

"Awright there Lord Filbus?" he asked me.

I nodded and gave him a smile, thinner than the moon a day before it's due.

"I will need a drink, master Deeppockets."

Nice work Skarlorn, lots of working parts to spin this tale!

I am most impressed by the amount of alcohol Filbus consumed after the tumultuous battle in the end. I am guessing you must have his tolerance maxed rofl.

***Immersion almost ruined when some woodelf named Zalea actually says after such an epic moment when Xon Quexill was slain and his magical robes were stripped from his body, and I quote: "If it looks cool, we're killing one for me btw." (stupid woodelves.)

P.S. Too bad there isn't a way to have made the epic battle with all halflings that would have been hilarious and even more epic.

lol that's great. I have yet to do this on any toon. I seriously need to make a drunk toon.

What exactly does the alcohol do at this point to your stats, anything beneficial?

Getting drunk will make your mana bar refill very quickly... Try it out! You'll be AMAZED!

It also increases STR slightly and fucks up a bunch of other stats.

Very useful to get a little drunk so you can autorun thru trees.
