Lake of Ill Omen - Explorer Survival Knives

Trooper Vaurk cannot be found in Lake of Ill Omen - AFAIK this quest was launched with kunark as an evil alternative to bone chips, since the quest results in faction losses with kelethin, kaladim and firiona vie. Trooper Vaurk is still missing and the Explorer Survival Knives quest cannot be completed.

Entry date on the quest is April 2002. First comment on Vaurk is late March 2002. He's not in our spawn log from 2000. Going to need more proof that the quest is from Kunark release.

Couldn't find any proof. It's quite likely that the quest and NPC isn't time-relevant, in which case the Explorer Survival Knife should probably be removed from their loot table.

The explorers also drop ringmail armor here which isn't in their Allakhazam entry or mentioned anywhere in the comments.

As of today the knives still don't drop... has this been given an ETA? I'd like to start the faction work for the monk shackle.

Knives aren't supposed to be live yet. I don't even think they were in velious.
