The recent downtimes were moving p99 servers to a daybreak owned datacenter. Roegan et al were paid a roughly 300k to transfer ownership of p99 IP to daybreak and they will hire 2-3 of the developers from p99. Within 6 months you will need a daybreak account to play p99, and they will probably start charging for it. Expect outages while they complete the integration, daybreak has crappy IT team.
