They have intentionally and purposefully ruined the economy for other porters. I don't see them so much as caring about that; if anything, proud of it.

Screw them.

Feel free to hollar at me if I'm online on my druid and you need a port. Donations accepted but not expected; you pay what you can. Wyldwinde.
Would love to see some logs of this said interaction.

As far as the rest of yor statement we have hardly put a dent in the problems of the economy. 6 years of Kunark and fatcatting has ripped it up. If anything we embrace the growth of obtaining raw plat in order to purchase the required items to progress through the server.

I'm sorry you don't like our guild but as far as any interaction with what little Charm guild is left it's been great.

I wish you luck with your guild and hope you have a great time here.

FWIW I port for donations with my (non-Dial) druid all the time, mainly out of OT (a popular Dial zone), and I have had no issues with Dial whatsoever.

Well ... except for that one time when a Dial wizard claimed that my druid ports were ridden with lice, but I just used that as a selling point to attract Ogre and Troll customers [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I don't know if he took any logs. I haven't seen him since this fiasco. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I was specifying porting economy, not mudflation or anything else.

I like a great number of the people in your guild. Some of them are truly dear people.

He was not in Charm when it happened. He returned after this incident, pretty upset. Hopefully he will return to EQ soon.

All we have done is unify the porting community to one guild. If anything we streamlined the proccess and made it much easier to move around while making money. Those that don't join the guild most do so out of not wanting to leave the guild they are already in because it is their only toon. I get that but at the same time that is their choice. I would also like to add that most conflicts recently with the guild haven't been on our end but people like DaB and Saavin who get butt hurt because they felt mistreated. I will say we are here for the community but we are here to be taken out back and bent over. I won't allow it and at the same time I don't expect my members to allow it or participate. Our number one rule is Be Nice and we pride ourselves on sticking to that the best we can. Do sometimes have issues yes but that's with any guild. Nobody is perfect.

As a guild we don't take or charge as I've said it a million n a half times. We are here to serve and make some coin while doing.

He has obviously ascended to staff.

In a departure from my other posts on p99, this is one that I don't have a source for-- its analysis based. The chance here is very high considering DaP fits the profile of a would-be staffer in 2 categories.

A) People who apply to be on staff (casual/fun/roleplay types) DaP would be a huge boost on an application. Ala He Shant Be Named who was a kingpin in the enviable vegetable trade.

Additionally, I have heard low whispers that Llandris had once cornered and controlled the sought after Fine Steel market, under an esoteric and not often known guild moniker <Lucan's Reliables> sometime around the Classic Launch Age (CLA). His fence operated out of the luxurious Tassel's Tavern, where they would launder large amounts of platinum for EC Fat Cats with cooked books on how many Fine Steel blades they actually sold. Some say Llandris's operation never turned a single sword and it was all some kind of Contras/Reagan-esque coverup and that he was actually Sir Lucan himself.

Needless to say, his application was accepted within 24 hours with no fields filled out.

B) People who management previously OK'd for staff. Redundant. See A.

Tupakk was recruited a short time later to join him in staff heaven, so that they could continue enjoying an alternate form of this EverQuest gaming experience together. Don't expect a lick of truth from him.
