![]() This probably won't help everyone, but I find that this happened to me when I played EQ2 as well - the solution for me is to reboot my computer every now and again...I generally just use sleep mode to shut it down, but after a week or so of doing that the crashes will happen all the time...something to do with RAM I think? I'm not too sure.

![]() This happens to me very often in OOT while hunting Seafuries. I thought it was just some bug with the zone so i packed up and headed to BW. Ive been hunting in BW for a while now and it happened to me today for the first time. Thankfully I didnt get killed. I hope someone finds a solution to this!

![]() I don't think this is a problem with the game engine or drivers or anything. At least not for me.
My client will close when I do something, like telling my pet to follow me for example today. As soon as I clicked on the follow button the game closed just as if I had clicked the X on the top right. It's almost as if whatever points to objects in the game gets messed up somehow and points at the wrong thing and the game closes because it can't handle it. | ||

![]() I didn't read the whole thread so apologies if this is a repeat. Right-click eqgame.exe, select the Comparability tab and set it for Windows XP SP3, and disable visual themes, desktop composition, and display scaling. I haven't had a single crash since changing these settings.

![]() I've crashed quite a few times for no particular reason. But I noticed that it ONLY happens when in the middle of soloing a mob and not in a group. Actually it never happend in a group yet. Turned down/off this and that and still I crash in the middle of soloing.

![]() I must have had this happen 12 or 15 times since I made my necro in January. I have, quite surprisingly, only died twice because of this, and fortunately it was while I was still in my 30s.
I wouldn't mind it so much if it didn't cost me bonechips every time. Such a pain to crash when I have a max-level pet, and then log back in and have to spend 10 minutes and half a stack of bonechips to get a pet who isn't minimum level [You must be logged in to view images.
