Default Problem installing EQ Titanium.

I just started to install my EQ Titanium and it's giving me a D:data2.cab data error (cyclic redundancy check).

Is this common and is there a way I can fix it?

I think it's the disc I am using. It's bad somehow. I tried to install from it on my computer with XP and Windows 7 and it stopped at the exact same point with the same error.

Tried using that program to copy the CD files, and it encountered an error at about the same point =/

Is there anyway I can get those files?

Ok, I am starting to get quite aggravated because I paid a whopping $60 for this so I could install it "legally" and now nothing is working. Is there anyway I could find an attachment for those select files I am missing from the incomplete install of Disc 1?

Attached is photo proof that i have obtained a copy of this game legally so if there's another way someone could help me that I don't know about at least it's not a legal issue as I already own a legal copy of the software.

I would suggest, (especially since you're bought the discs) that you go about getting the .iso files of the discs. They are essentially images of those CDs, and you can use Daemon Tools Lite to mount the emulated discs and install them that way.

Torrent:

Daemon Tools Lite:

Thankyou for helping Koota. By mounting do you mean copying the files onto a readable CD format and then installing like normal?

What Daemon Tools does is it "mounts" the iso files you torrented. Daemon Tools essentially creates an imaginary CD Rom Drive. And it uses those iso files to emulate (imitate) actual CDs.

So when you "mount" an iso file, it is essentially like putting a CD in to the CD ROM.

If you have any questions about the process just post here or PM me.
