If so, and that works for all humanoids, then this was just a bad post and can be resolved. Sorn seemed to say earlier this wasn't working, I always thought charm was needed on P99.

Charm is needed if you want the whatsits to
drop whatever you've handed to them...Having anything you hand to an NPC uncharmed drop is a classic mechanic that was disabled on p99. PoD in classic would always have a ton of junk items on them when killed because people were constantly giving them stuff.
Unclear on whether or not everything wears whatever you give it. Never seen the PoD with PoD fashionquest on p99, though. I have seen Peachy with a bp and a torch in PoM that did not drop when she was killed (so some dope handed her pet items without charming her).
