I don't care if that guy got an iphone and voted accordingly. I try to pass on a few bucks to anyone I see who might really need it. Yeah there's a possibility the guy is a scammer. Yeah he might need it for drugs or alcohol. He might be scamming for drugs or alcohol. The possibility my spare cash might seriously help someone out for a day outweighs any of that. They usually pay me back by sharing their story, which I hope doubles as knock off therapy. The world sucks and I try desperately to make it suck less temporarily for the people I run into.
