I don't think p99 will allow Gnome SKs in 18 years either.

Just FYI there will (almost certainly) be no "later". This is because Project 1999's stated goal is to only go as far as Brad McQuaid/Aradune went, ie. up to but not including Luclin. Gnome Shadow Knights were added after Luclin's release, which means that they have no place on P99 (they only appear because P99 uses the Titanium client, which was created after Gnome SKs were added).

The only reason I said "almost certainly" is because once Green is released Blue might get custom-developed content. This content, if it's added at all, would have to be "classically-themed", and some might consider Gnome Shadow Knights (and Halfling Rangers) to be "classically-themed" if not "classic."

But unless Green is released, the devs decide to go with custom content, AND the devs decide to add those race/class combinations (which I couldn't see happening any earlier than 2020) it's not going to happen.

Luckily, P99 is still pretty awesome even if you can only make a Gnome Necromancer or a Dark Elf Shadow Knight [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
