As far as joining a casual/social guild - I'd probably recommend 'Kittens Who Say Meow'. Nice people that don't take themselves too seriously, yet they successfully raid consistently. Try not to compare the game with anything modern. She's old, but she's still beautiful. Learning its quirks may take some time and patience, but you'll learn to love the wrinkles on her face....do I want to fuck classic Everquest?? Anyway, for a first time player I would recommend to constantly have the wiki up while you play (wiki.project1999.com) and probably make a druid. They get a bit of everything, including teleports. So you can make some money and twink another character in case you find some other class you enjoy more. | |||

Even today, it still has this incredible palatable feeling of nostalgia, old dreams and correct amount of frustration and sense of accomplishment more modern mmos lack. It is so raw and unpolished in some parts, that imperfection is indeed one of its main attractive qualities. [You must be logged in to view images. Much love!
