Fear kiting works out very well. Have your druid snare while you fear and have your charmed pet beat the mob down. Druid can throw a dot/nuke as needed. Have him snare your pet eventually and you'll be in almost no danger once charm breaks.

Yeah I thought so too, should have a lot of things in our toolkit playing together. Really not sure our best way to utilize our skills to kill effectively, like whether we should dual charm, or root/rot, etc.
Dual charm whenever animals are available

Those both sound great, should be fun once we get up in levels and can access those spells. For druids and enchanters, does gear help very much? About 3 years ago when I first tried out P99 for the first time, a guy in EC gave my level 6 wizard a couple caster pieces (advisor robe and a stein of moggok I believe) and about 1800 PP. Would it be worthwhile to get some gear or just get her used to the classic experience without twinking? (granted the amount of twinking would be minimal and I'd have no idea what to look for never playing a druid before).

Enc Druid is very strong. This was the teammates my original static.

I had an SK. The enc Druid loved days I couldn't play as it meant they could kill whites and yellows instead of keeping my troll ass patched up against blues.

Outside of weapons, gear doesn't really mean a huge amount. I like the experience of gearing and levelling yourself up as you go.

Two of the least gear dependent classes in the game. Some CHA gear will help with charm breaks and is usually super cheap for the enchanter. Beyond that any hp/mana items are great but just icing on the cake.

What time do you guys usually play? I'm looking to start up an alt and join a good leveling group, unless you just want duos which I totally respect.
