Yeah, that doesn't mean anything. We are a product of the times. You have access to a wealth of information that didn't exist at that time, partly because those guilds you're talking about smoking were discovering that knowledge.

FoH or Afterlife would be crawling, and kittens would train them and eat a ban.

Also I'm fairly certain with in era mechanics these pulls weren't possible. Nevermind that some mobs would hey stuck on walls and stuff or run weird directions.

Then kittens would give up cause of serious time commitment.
