Blue is definitely more popular than Red ... and every other emulated EQ server in existence.
But if you actually want PvP for some reason (what's wrong with you?) the new Rise of Zek server used to have more people than Red (I'm not sure if that's still true). Really there's no reason to play on any server except Blue, unless you want PvP, or unless you want Luclin/PoP/etc. ... in which case you'll have to accept servers with much lower population (and their real population is even lower than what's shown, because they allow people to play multiple accounts at once). Also, while we take for granted things like fair GMs ... or even having GMs who respond to petitions at all, those servers tend to have very poor support, GMs who play favorites, and other flaws (which is a major part of why they're not as popular as Blue).
