Default New to P99, UI issues.

Greetings,
I played Live EQ from 1999 until early 2004. I started playing P99 over the weekend. I installed the files from the p99 site. I did the update.
Currently I am unable to toggle the colored targeting circles in options. Simply will not stay on.
I cannot find how you can change the spell bar to be horizontal. On the two characters I have made so far it is vertical and I cannot figure out how to change it.

I have tried to set the game to full screen mode . When I apply the change the screen briefly goes full screen but in the lowest resolution. My screen then goes black and minimizes. When I expand the window it is back in windowed mode at the correct resolution (3440x1440 native). In windowed mode the fringes of the client are off screen so I can't see all of the ui.

Finally is there an allowed add on for better UI control and one that helps with creating macros? I want to create a macro that allows me to spam sense direction as my character runs around. (if that is legal).
Thanks.

Welcome to p99. There are no targeting circles here. That was an addition from a later expansion, the coding exists in the titanium client, but the function has been disabled here on p99.

There are UI's that you can download which will prolly make you happier with your interface, there is a thread about them here on the forums, search "UI" here on p99 forums, you will find some. Personally I use duxaui.

I've never played in full screen mode, as I have two monitors and like seamless mouse movement between the two, without having to unlock my mouse from a full screened game via keystrokes to change the window. Easier to just play windowed imo.

As far as sense heading when you move, here's what you do. Go to your keybinds, find your movement keys, set there alternate keystroke option to be whatever button you have sense heading on (2,3,4,etc). That way, every time you push the movement or movement keys with alternate key assigned, it will activate both the move, and the hotkey for sense heading. Can max sense heading by lvl 5 easily this way. Then you can unbind it if you want and just hit when needed.

Feel free to PM if you need more help
