I'm a little confused. He was asking a price you weren't willing to pay for the weapon, but he added "I'm in a good mood". The correct response would have been to tell him what you were willing to pay for it, and end it with "If you accept my offer then we'll both be in a good mood!"

The weapon in question was an exq velium claidhmore, which on average is sold for less than half of that. I couldve offered something like 5.5k but I knew in the back of my mind that if someone was selling it for that price, and the fact that the dude seemed a little weird that there was no way it was gonna end with me buying it
