it's actually a part of the 20 year fabled anniversary the server is doing. there new tov rules only apply to the fabled variants of tov nameds but the code wasn't updated yet. there will basically be regular and fabled variants of each named in tov with a chance at some sweet fabled gear that has even better stats.
Don't even joke - that would be amazing.

If this server forced a flat rotation on everything, a portion of the toxic players would leave (boo hoo) and GMs would have tons of free time to run events, add fabled stuff, and generally make the server feel more like the nostalgic and fun EQ everyone originally came here for.

AM would hate it, but whatever. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For all the suggestions that people want to compete, the top tier guilds really like to “compete” for the DA idol camp and starve others out of idols that are necessary to compete in ToV and VP. Grats on your FTE on Vopruk after I went LD, bro. Guess it’s all about “gitting gud” when we’re talking about getting those idols.

Just another way that the alleged competition people say they want so badly is unnecessary or just turns into an excuse to be a dick.

Maybe if people weren’t assholes holding the camp for 80+ hours, skipping people on the list, and generally acting like children, it wouldn’t need to be petitioned.

Gonna have to get that in writing, double checked by some High Elf lawyers then signed by the King of Felwithe. Even then with the camps proximity to Freeport and the other human settlement of High Keep its sketch at best.

..you know the Dismal Rage has a stranglehold on all human cities.

Indeed this is pure entertainment, braknar hitting it out of the park with free entertainment. GM for p99 and sets RnF ablaze. A true hero

I'm interested to see how a rotation would affect the pixel sicks. I'm more interested to see a forced crawl of ToV with limitations on coth mages / coth spots. Zone line pulls are essentially an exploit of the game engine AI mechanics, you really can't argue how this works from a roleplay standpoint. You don't abandon the queen or king to chase some scrub all around the zone.
