It all goes back to Riot only wanting to give guilds "Several Hours" instead of rotating with them.
I think it all really goes back to AM offering to not kill things they don't kill.

The mobs we've offered up are specifically the inner-ring dragons because those are the mobs that are noncompetitive outside of a mega-zerg. You can have 3x the kill force needed for Aaryonar and still not get the kill because somebody brought 6x the kill force.

The other targets - city leaders, trips, twins, west, Doze etc. - can still be contested by smaller guilds, where a minimal kill force some skill can secure you the kill in front of a 100+ hungry zerg. Numbers are not the deciding factors on those encounters.

We didn't offer up the mobs that remain competitive, we offered up the mobs that small guilds have literally no hope of seeing. AM/Riot still get the competitive aspect they both thrive on, and the casuals get to experience and practice the content without the cut-throat toxicity or unreasonable barrier to entry of needing 120+ raiders sitting behind a batphone 24 hours a day.

It's also the entire ring for a reason: you can wait until it all spawns, then do a single clear in one pass instead of multiple, multi-hour clears with inconvenient and time-consuming succors to the zone line each time something new spawns. The other mobs are all quick encounters.

Irrespective of the motives, the effect is undoubtedly a win for the smaller guilds that Riot leadership has (allegedly) being championing.
A net positive for the server and the hungry raiders in the independent guilds. Exciting times.

I've corrected this for you.

The thing is, you could've suggested this a year ago when AM had the bigger Zerg. You're only suggesting this now because you're no longer the bigger Zerg and you're not winning 90% of raid content.

Riot has been pushing for it for over a month, and Unicity and Arthion apparently discussed it together long before Riot ever formed. Many guilds have been asking for it for a long time. A separate guild leader Discord was set up, sans-Aftermath, with arguments made that it would never happen because Aftermath would block it.

Well, here we are: not blocking it, not reluctantly agreeing to it, but coming out in support of it with more generous and less restrictive terms than Riot stated.

Mobs that are still competitive in this era of unclassic mechanics remain competitive and mobs that require mega-zergs will now be open to casual, smaller guilds to experience.

Fewer petitions, less toxicicity, a healthier and friendlier raid scene. A win for the server.

"We're not getting these mobs so Riot shouldn't either" is all I'm hearing from Aftermath.

Cool. Wanna rotate KT, Doze, Statue, Gorenaire, Dain, Yeli, Trips, and Doubles instead of inner ring then? You know, the mobs where you actually have a shot outside of lawyerquested freebies?

Nah, you want to rotate the mobs that you suck the most at.

And let’s not pretend the casual raiding guilds are killing any of those targets outside of quakes or the rare double spawn that locks AM/Riot.

Explain how it went from THIS to the fucked up narrative you are trying to spin today. With AM being the charitable good guys.

AM is the ones with extreme short term memory. Us "CASUALS" will not forget who you are or the meta you created.

Dammn, you just know there are hundreds of more posts and narratives spun by Detoxx against the casuals and examples of him walking back his rhetoric time after time...
