Pathing Rooting an NPC as it runs towards you

i saw this behavior today rooting a griffen in EK near shore
it looked like it kept running sowed speed and then after 5 seconds it appeared in the place it was rooted
quite distracting bug

I experienced this bug. If I moved after seeing the mob ghost through me, its graphic would revert to its true position.
