Escaping guk to run and buy a pet in FP asap. That and malachite, I've been running through 34 pets like cheap toilet paper.

Note that it said missing pets, so that might mean 24-34 pets are still gone except for newly added water/earth at 34 to complete the research chain.

Water and earth will work. Under the "normal" situation, a mage could easily level and never research or have to buy a researched pet.

All the usual mage pets should be on vendors now. GZ added them in May 1999.
