Perpetual Crashing / DC... What Gives

Hey Guys,

So I have been trying to play P99 Green here for a few days, and I have been crashing / DCing about 75% of the time while zoning, and Crashing / DCing / loading to a blank character select screen, while trying to log on, for sometimes over an hour before finally getting in.

So far I have tried (to no avail)
-WinEQ
-Deleting UI Files and letting them be automatically remade
-Changing Resolutions
-Disabling and Enabling Texture Compression
-Disabling and Enabling Texture Caching
-Windowed Mode
-Disabling Loading Art
-Minimal Graphics Settings
-Windows XP Service Pack 2 and 3
-Running as Administrator

The only thing I have not done is a Fresh Install, but I have heard that doesn't help much either.

At the end of the line guys, I am completely sick and frustrated of playing 'Crash and DC simulator' while trying to log back in for sometimes over an hour, only to be trained immediately after getting in, having to zone and consequently crashing, and then starting back over from scratch again.

All I can is if this is intended to keep botters away or something like that, judging by forum posts, you are also keeping a large group of loyal and veteran players away.

unfortunately you won't get an answer for what the problem is, just a lot of people wasting your time and sending you on wild goose chases, and the only way to avoid is to not play from 3pm EST to 11 PM EST.

It's just so stupid, I ran from Innothule to Freeport and crashed on literally every single zone, one of which I crashed while logging in too....
It's like okay you want to stop bots, or whatever.... so you ruin the game for some people and cause them to crash literally every single time you zone..

It makes 0 sense.

well, the game literally WILL NOT let me play, I just wasted about an hour for 1 instance of trying to log in....

Yup, I'm done, time to let my gear rot! Cool Server!

sorry to spam, but I had a break through today right after deciding to be done with it.

I installed a VPN, and had like a 95%+ success rate while zoning, the few times I did crash I was able to get right back in.

Give it a try and see if it works?
