Tailoring Questions

I am confused about tailoring.
I tried checking the forums and I was having trouble finding a specific answer to my questions.

I am trying to craft some of the tailored bags and I must be missing something. When I combine the necessary pelt and silk thread I get "Padded Leather".

At first I used my Large Sewing Kit and noticed that in the guide I need to use a Loom. Well I tried the Loom in Halas and I still got "Padded Leather".

The "Loom" read as Sewing Kit so I thought maybe the one in Qeynos would work. It says Sewing Kit as well so now I'm stumped?

Is it possible to make tailored bags? Am I missing an item necessary for the combine?

Any help would be great!

Skin and thread is the recipe for the padding. You need a silk CORD, not silk thread. A silk cord is crafted by combining 3 silk threads.

1 x Low Quality Bear Skin
1 x Silk Cord

Thank you kindly for clearing that up.
I was concerned for a moment [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.], because there is Luclin Padded Leather Armor that is not craftable.
