Default forest loops

In warsilk wood, i killed giant the entire lvl 24-25-26 and 27 so 4 entire level killing giants=0 forest loops. I dont know what is the % of drop or if i am really unlucky but 4 lvl i think it is a lots hehe if you could see about the % thx!
P.S. i must said than i mostly killed the giants outside the fort, i dont know if they have the same loot table?

you're experience is not odd at all, they're super rare.

very true to kunark's release.

I think I easily went thru 100 BW giants before seeing my forest loop drop, and it was actually 2 forest loops and a tree weave on the same corpse. Then got another one within 5 minutes of having the last 2 drop. Keep in mind it's random, and though you may not see one drop after killing many of them they are on the loot table; as was stated, they're super rare =P

Have to agree completely, levelled from 24-29 at the Giant Fort in WW and didn't see a single Forest Lopp, a buddy of mine starts up there a day or two later, gets on in his first hour there.

I did 53-57 on giants in Burning wood (read: about 100x more giants then you would have killed doing 24-27) and only got 2 forest loops.

forest giant arbors drop them most often. If you were at the giant fort in BW you were killing mostly verdants and only a few arbors.

Camp of 3 arbors and one roamer in FV. If you want a forest loop that's where you should be. I got two there in alot less kills than you guys are talking. Frontier Mountains your 2nd best bet. Warsliks woods the giants are lower level and is probably why their drop rate is low.
