So the solo wiz gathers up 25 PoFear mobs and channels through their hits and has enough hp to live, then hits em up his PBAE, then does it again for a sustained 1 minute or so?

I want to meet this Wizard, they sound amazing!

Great question.

Only quest exp exploit I can think of would be one that returns the turn-in item that can be turned in multiple times. I haven't seen that on P99, and that isn't the situation Rogean is referring to.

There is no exploit. Rogean used the word incredibly loosely.

For example, if someone stockpiles 15,000 greater lightstones, they can go 50-60 somewhat fast. Does that mean they exploited? Does that mean the quest is an exploit?

Asteria, the quests in question have remain unchanged for over 1 year. The turn-in items, the drop rate of those items, the amount of quest exp for for the quest, the NPC, etc. are all 100% the same. The only thing that changed is a very small amount of people decided to stockpile these quest items to make some big plays.

As others have said if you are super hurt about your gnome scroll nerf, you don’t have near as many as others, either save them for when they lift the nerf and enjoy free exp or death loop to level 15 and then pay a cleric with a truwian baton to power Rez you for three hours. This should get you to around level 58.

1. Yes, intelligence, creativity, and time invested is and should be a fair advantage.

2. A level 60 with Vanilla gear and none of their dropped spells won't be soloing much in Kunark that can't be done by a few 51/52s. If you can think of a camp, lemme know.

Someone boosting to 60 on Day 1 wouldn't have any major advantage except they got the grind over - oh and bragging rights.
