I used to see a great deal of pain and suffering in my face. Fear.

What blows my mind is when I look back at old pictures of mine now, I see a softness and kindness that I couldn't see before.

Our faces change even our old ones, by how pure and in love our heart is with the universe.

That picture of me on the beach, I used to kind of hate it, it still feels hungry, but there is much more now to it.

This applies to other people as well, but is dictated by other peoples frames of reference, more than ours. We don't make them soft, they do.

Imperiouskitten can totally confirm. Bhudda is smiling through all times. All people. His people. I think when he figured this out is when he started to really shine and smile. I don't think I want to follow in his footsteps, but I can see how it worked out for him.

I agree. But I also agree with fixing the world. There are problems. Sadly no one wanted the truth, they wanted expedience and immediacy. Maybe they were based on lies, so that the effect would be softened and countered some and things would slow? And we'd re-evaluate our own integrity? It did for me.

Yes, I did care about George Floyyd he died unnecessarily, he should have been in a criminal psychiatric ward long term. Years, if not forever for rehab. He could have taught us how to avoid his fate. Over and over. And put less cops at risk, over and over. He was probably too far gone for civil society. Or running a family. And they should have been all removed from that situation.

We don't want to care for the people we put in George's position though. We just want them to "not be our problem anymore".

We as a people are responsible for the health and welfare of this country and we treat ourselves like absolute worthless shit. And make everyone run a privatized maze and gauntlet to the truth. And believe you me I was thinking the best way to save place this was through a private charity. Not one that lobbies the government for shit and "power", but actually does shit. And pays good hearted people for doing the right shit. A living wage.

He died long afterward at the hospital, he did not die from the knee. If you've ever seen an MMA match, people go unconscious within about 5 seconds of a choke hold. There were like 5 year old kids wearing T-Shirts with his face on them; a guy who robbed a pregnant woman at gunpoint. He had a fucking 4 day long funeral with a gold casket. Meanwhile when a good cop with a family gets blasted in the face during a routine traffic stop, nobody gives a shit. No fanfare, no mass media coverage, no riots, no protests. It's pure theater. So much emotional manipulation over a tragic, but completely unremarkable event that just happened to go viral on social media.

I'm not saying I support all the protests, but to be fair if you can't understand that they aren't rioting over this single individual than you are extremely extremely clueless

Yes, I understand that. That doesn't exactly bolster their cause, because almost every single individual they are rioting over, with a couple noteworthy exceptions, was a completely justified police shooting, based on the actions of the person being shot. And even in the rare cases where the shooting was unjustified, it doesn't automatically make it racially motivated, which is their central claim. It just doesn't stand up to even cursory scrutiny.

Meanwhile, David Dorn, who was a black police chief with a wife and kids murdered in cold blood by a rioter, is utterly ignored by "black lives matter". Their messaging is just completely incoherent, is my point. And when one brings this up, you're suddenly accused of "politicizing" the issue. Like nope, I'm just pointing out the overwhelmingly retarded hypocrisy that is plain as day for anybody to see if they can let go of their comfortable tribal affiliations.
