Mind to explain your thinking further? What trolling? What autists? What are you referring to?

I'm relatively new to the game (started 2020), have toons on green, and decided to try red also. What is the point of your post?

That and there is a theme here over years to troll vets into thinking there are new players joining a dwindling population. It’s a deep play, it gives them hope, the heaviest weight a man can carry. You’ll see. Red will change you. I played for years, now when I join a new community or game people call me a psycho.

My first character here started out as a hopeful young dark elf but a Druid named Mornin offered to buff me and instead ninja ported me to NK from nektulos so the druids of the ring could “cleanse this foul elf” I never got my body back. I made a friendly wizard porting for clarity and killed people for the rest of my days. Never looked back.

Good luck

Ahh, I see. Well in my case I did start on red [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

But I have toons on all three servers. I will see what I like the best. Or something that I want is camped on one server, I can try on another [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

As for the rest, I hear you and I'm probably the least suited player for PvP server, so I do wonder, how long I will last. But can't hurt trying out and having several options available.

If u wasnt a char that can farm and help newibes do druid, or shm, if u want to be a box ally, do clr, if u want to be cool and farm for whatever alt u want to play into your 50's, do enchanter or necro.

Right now there's 3 wizards leveling up cuz the box is wide open for quad kiting, but thats a slow class to start out on it takes a few weeks to do jboots and temperate staff quest unless u are willing to poopsock. Cleric is brutal if u unless mind afking for 30 min.

Necro is a cakewalk. Even if all u do is stand there and lifetap while ur pet hits stuff.

I'd say mage is probably fun to but u will never win in pvp ever period.

I'll probably be taking my cleric into ToFS and probably my necro at some point if i lose my mind completely. Looking forward to one day in 2021 maybe putting some fun toys on an ikky war. If the internet is still real and i dont die for healtth reasons.

I havent gone anon or role yet, in 29 levels, and my points are all in CHA, 100 cha human clr so that i can solo in dungeons later if i ever go to thurgardain and get an armor )

Im sorry to hear that was/is a thing. Ive never played red and am enjoying it currently over the blue and green servers. When it stops being fun I will stop playing it. Thats it.

a lot of friendships were made by ppl doing that so dont feel tooo bad about it

---that said i'm upfront about it, and a lot of other elf players are too, if u dont pretend like a totally desperate newb and just do ur thing and pay ur due's with an alt to farm pixels ppl will accept u on the box no probs

i think it only matters to like 3 people who never logged off since 2012 when someone got some kinda dragon pixel with their 'newb' who just got leveled up in a week, then quits to the opposing side over an AoN, ppl still bitch about that stuff when u go in their discords, but u can tone it out/make ur own discord/ be ur own friend network, just ignore it

Thanks for all the info. I think I may/will reconsider my Cleric pick. I have Necro on green (in 30's) and I'm a little bit familiar with it. If Cleric is that slow, then I don't want it. lol I will try to make friends by porting players with my Druid then (there are players that don't dual box since I see calls for porting - unless it is a deadly trap of course) [You must be logged in to view images. So what is the story about going all in CHA on Red? Joke? Only Humans or Cleric (or Humans/Clerics) needs it? Or anyone should have max CHA? I've read somewhere about this, but didn't understand.

So for example, why would Gnome Necro need CHA on Red over other stats?

its a joke, u probably shouldnt unless u are hardcore, go all CHA.

90% of ports are cool and normal no one likes to trap ppl that way and it would be funny if someone did, thats the oldest trick in the book, usually its the druid doing the port, then killing the person, then leaving them there far away from their bind...

ppl usually minmax i guess unless its an alt, for most classes thats either int, sta, or wis, on the melee characters that actually get 4-6 points for sta, i guess that is kinda nice, but otherwise it hink sta is a dumb stat

90 wis feels a little short and its like 480 mana end game, but idk, i'm kinda crazy and i think its nice to not have to swap gear just to lull a mob as much, though i'll probably end up with a full wisdom set, a full melee set, and a full cha set

necros don't benifit from cha at all, their undead charms/fears dont care, maybe with numb the dead, but its a very niche spell, i use it sometimes, and ya my necro has 85 cha, cuz she's an alt for farming stuff, i wont likely do anything with her past 51 if i do, i don't think i would try to bill myself as a competative necro raider

i think if u just bought the absolute neccissary spells u could get a necro to 50 in a few weeks just grinding down mobs with call of bones or w/e makes u into a skele

Not in a rush to get to high levels at all [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
I will play slow and enjoy the game at low levels where I will mostly be off the radar lol
