Yup.
I'm on a new M1 Air, 8 core, 16GB ram.

Trying to get p99 to run, and having a **** of a time. homebrew, wine, crossover, def having some issues.

Installing goes easy -wine wise or via Crossover, but launching is def another matter altogether. I've yet to get it to launch after a week of trying.

Also; hello world.
First forum post. Nice to meet you all (^.^)

Any luck getting this to work?

I'm considering upgrading soon, and I'm thinking it'll mean I won't be able to play P99 anymore. :/

At this point in time, an M1 with P99 is probably a tough ask.

It's all quite new at the moment and P99 is a niche game, and playing on a mac is even more niche! Sorry to say.

You might have better luck on TAK project/P2002 (or whatever it's called) as they use a native mac client that should work fine with rosetta 2 translation.

The problem is that WINE doesn't work too well with M1 just yet (to my understanding)

Pro tip. Figure out what software you want to run in your life, then get the machine that runs that. The hardware before software marketing ploy is simply to separate you from your money.
