Is it possible to revert your UI back to its original color?

In the main EQ folder there will be a character UI ini file that holds custom settings. You can delete or rename this file and let the game generate a new one with defaults

File name will be: UI_<CharName>_project1999.ini

This will also reset window locations/sizes as well and will have to set that back up
