I love how you made a complete straw man argument out of what Alli asked. Asking if they can do it =/= only those 3 can do it. In the next draft I hope one of the other guilds does take RWs for a week and gains the confidence they need to show up to the rolls, but 3 weeks off if they fail is a pretty heavy penalty and PROBABLY what keeps most people from trying it.

Doesnt make sense -- They dont try so the 3 week penalty isnt a deterrent for them since they are in the same boat they were before they tried anyways.

I'll try again. They aren't trying because they never have. Nothing has changed. The roll has nothing to do with any of this. the roll is because you assholes can't stop cheating each other.

rogean and nilbog need to just perma ban all 'raiders' and let everyone else work their way up. then when the lower level guys inevitably fall to pixel sickness, they can get banned too. its a healthy life cycle, once ur brain gets too rotten to work right you get banned and new people get a chance

I’m only speculating. Some guilds are perfectly happy farming HoT and competing for smaller targets to complete epics. Could be they don’t know the timer, could be they just don’t want to, maybe some of them are unfamiliar with the mechanics of it, but the GMs made the decision they did based on what they felt was strong enough evidence of someone potentially cheating that they made it a new rule, so these are the ones we play with. A roll is a much lower barrier of entry than clicking for the duration of the window as well so if they do decide they want to throw their hat in the ring the opportunity is more appealing. There are all sorts of people at angry, shady, and scout after all. A few less ring 10s is t a huge deal, summer is coming, enjoy some bbq if you lose a ring 10 roll.
