Matt, please do my research for me. Sigh, ok

Edit: oops I thought u were asking which states don’t require an ID to vote

https://worldpopulationreview.com/st...-laws-by-state

States like CA allow, in lieu of a state ID, either any form of picture ID which can be things as easy to get as a library card or gym card, or in lieu of that, 2 forms of mailing verification, which can be things like a power bill

Democrats politicians have always taken the stance of “by requiring state ID to vote, you are suppressing disadvantaged populations who either, due to a lack of transport or education or having English as their native language, struggle to get an official state ID. So it is discriminatory to require an ID to vote”

Ok, how about we make it easier for them to get an ID then?

Democrat politicians:

By requiring only things like 2 forms of bills via mail, you are making it much easier for someone who is undocumented to vote. Or just for people to cheat in general by faking an identity or using someone else’s. Which does occur, believe it or not. Not on the scale Trump claimed, but it does most definitely occur. And the ones caught, like any crime, are the tip of the iceberg compared to the ones doing the crime

I meant like what can you do about it because constitutionally it's their right not to?

They have a right to vote, but requiring an official state ID to vote is simply a more secure system than not. There is no denying this. I understand why states offer alternatives, but these undeniably make it easier to cheat, on a factor based on how lax these requirements are

To offer a flip side of the coin, the thing that system does well, is penalize cheating: “ harsh criminal penalties, including up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 for citizens and possible deportation for non-citizens”

No if’s and’s or butt’s about it, that is a stiff penalty. That alone will dissuade a lot of motive to cheat. But security is still important

States control their own elections, feds dont. If the Wisconsin legislature picked the Packers o-line as their electors, that's how it would be.

Here's a meme to help you understand

The penalty for casting an illegal ballot is pretty heavy. Laws already exist and the only people ive seen casting fraudulent ballots are trump supporters and he lost. Doh... I guess you dont realize what you're doing. Dont cry when you have the lowest turn out ever.

Watch, this is fuck over their own voters so hard. Its going to be hilarious. I'm sure all those retirement communities are going to love the new regulations. lolol Better hope grandma can stand in line for 12 hours to drop off her ballot lol. Thats like 50% of republicans.

How many instances of identity theft fraud occurred in CA in 2016? How about inheritance claim fraud?

Turns out not newsworthy news is not newsworthy. Where can I find a list of all the perpetrators of all different possible crimes in CA? Show me where that list is and I’ll find the section on voting while ineligible

Turns out crime happens and the only ones YOU tend to hear about are funneled through the lens of “what is the perpetrator’s skin color? What is the victim’s skin color” and only a very specific kind of news emerges
