Returning player, forgotten password
Hey there, I was curious if it was possible to somehow retrieve my credentials from my first account on p99? I played years ago before Velious was implemented. I remember the login username and even a few of my character names but the password eludes me after all this time.
I was gunna chuck it up to accepting the fact I would have to make a new account and start over again but a friend convinced me to ask and see if maybe there's a solution. Thank you for reading. | ||

Your Account you are on is from 2014, this not the account? The forum account is connected to Project1999 account which connects to login servers.
You can have multiple logins on one account, maybe you did that? https://www.project1999.com/account/?LS | ||

That's the thing, I was totally sure the forum account was the same thing but each time i reset my password on here to log in the game it still says invalid which is strange. The newer account I made to try it out works fine because I wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy.
Is there a specific wait period or something for the new one to take effect? i feel like I'm at a loss lol | ||

No wait, should be instant.
You can't login with your forum account, that is only for the forum/website but that link has the LoginServer accounts associated with your forum/website account which holds those accounts for you. Maybe it was a EQEmulator account? http://www.eqemulator.org/ | ||
