Miscellaneous: Aldryn, Blade of the Ocean

This is in game atm, with all playable paladin races listed as usable.

Originally, and through velious this sword was only usable by Humans and Erudites, as they are the only ones able to worship Prexus.

One of the best thing about classic EQ is exclusivity with items and things like that. One of the reasons I started an erudite paladin long ago was aspiring to having this sword at some point. Almost a bummer seeing other races running around with it.

to specify, it's hum/eru only, not prexus only - correct?

Its just human / erudite only. And it doesn't get changed for a looong time

Sorry to all the folks who did this quest without bother researching its original form, but thats just how it goes.

Heres a quote from a comment about it

"I'm sure no one cares but thought I would post the story on this sword here, since I am a member of Scarlet Horizon. Orth got the Bixie Sword Blade which was 2dmg 6dly, yes thats not a typo 2/6 1hs weapon, it was amazing to see in combat. Because the BSB was such a nice weapon he wasn't going to complete the quest. Well then the nerf bat struck and the BSB became 2dmg 16dly. Since no one had completed the quest to our knowledge yet, he decided to complete it. He is a Half-elf Paladin so pretty much got screwed twice on this. Nerf BSB, can't use quest sword."
