This is why anti vax is so moronic.
There are plenty of proven vaccines to show they can and do work.

That said, I'm not getting a covid vaccine any time soon. Especially since it was rushed out to market.
Other vaccines took years of experiments to prove their worth to the public.
With covid, people are the experiment.

I'm not going to rag on early adopters for being willing to partake in that experiment. That's how we get the data, after all. I'm not opposed to that. I'm only opposed to Uncle Sam's increasing slide into totalitarianism. A friend of family died of covid this past week. He was vaccinated. These "isolated incidents" keep piling up. His "preventable illness" didn't seem so preventable. It's a fact of life that there are diseases out there which elude efforts at eradication. It requires those early adopters to identify whether covid is one of them.

I was talking to the wife the other day how, from a mental standpoint, faith in the shot has for some folks taken on a similar mental mechanic as religion--and as with the latter, the more its obvious that all its promises aren't what it was promoted as, the more the faithful double down and rage against the nonbeliever heretics.
