Green or blue for a complete noob?
First of all, hello everyone! I have never played EQ but wanna give it a try.
I know that the blue server lets you use some QoL and UI stuff, but also is more progressed so there’s less low level/new people. What would you recommend for a complete clueless begginer? I have to admit, as a WoW Classic fiend, the UI on green (played for about 10 minutes only) seems very, very hard to get used to…

I prefer Blue with DuxaUI. But for a really new player I would recommend Green.
At Blue you will have a harder time finding other players for grouping, binds (set hearthstone), buffs and help. Also stuff at the tunnel in the Commonlands (we created the now common Bazaar system back then) is mostly expensive high-end gear, but now and then some cheap stuff is sold or just handed out to new characters. But the player base is pretty much the same on both servers, usually friendly and helpful people.

Go green and join Stranger Danger. We focus on low levels and helping them out.

Honestly the difference in the servers is small. Blue has cheaper gear and camps are likely a bit more open but they are both in Velious era with the same content.
I prefer blue due to the UI there, pet windows, etc..
