what does this guy mean by there is no riff-raff he keeps saying. I thought he meant homeless people, but im starting to wonder, he went from calling them homeless to criminals to riff-raff, im about halfway does it end racist?

There are very little homeless wandering the streets, most are simply down-on-their-luck and will not hassle anyone. (its shameful). A backbone of southern culture for this area is the Baptist church, which I come from. Doesn't matter if you want to do that or not, its part of the fabric, a big part. Churches do missions and charities to help these few, because its manageable. The south shames being jobless, doesn't matter what you do, be a plumber, a lawyer or doctor or a guy who cleans shit from gutters... just have a job or financial security. You never have to flex money here.
