Trying the Iksar Monk again

Kilezika was born about a week ago now on blue, and has managed to get up to level 11 so far. That's at least twice as far as I got the last time I tried on here several years ago. I'm liking it here, people for the most part have been very helpful and super generous. I hope to stick around for a while and do a little punching and kicking here and there.

Looking forward to making my own set of cured silk armor in the near future. One thing I'd love to get my claws on is a better weapon. Fine steel great staff is way too heavy. I've got a decent amount of plat saved up, thanks largely to the kindness of strangers. Hopefully it's enough for either a Bamboo Bo Stick or some Knuckle Dusters.

I've looked into making the journey to EC tunnel, but the dangers at this level and the cost to get faction up in order to bank in NFP just don't seem to be feasible at this point. If anyone finds themselves near FoB with one of these to get rid of, I'd appreciate a tell.

If you are ready to ruing your burynai faction you can farm yourself an iksar berseker club in about 5 or 8 more levels in Kurns.

Once you’ve saved up 100pp start cold calling players in City of Mist WTB Wu’s Quivering Staff. This weapon will get you to epic. (/who all city to find the players). Field of Bone and CoM are both adjacent to Emerald Jungle so it should be easy for them to come make the trade with you.

Buy Bristlesilk sleeves, wrists, legs and boots from vendor opposite the monk guild to get the appearance of being velious quest geared. This will help you get group invites.
