The problem isn’t guns it’s a lack of bipartisan discussion on how to fix anything at all. Guns have always been here and aren’t going away. Something’s gotta be done though and I’m glad nobody on these forums have any real say haha.

It's a discussion forum called off-topic and the thread is about an extremely current event. Why is just talking about it so offputting? I don't get it.
God forbid anyone have an opinion other than "Beep boop gun killed kiddos gun bads ban guns america bads."

Id say what they talk about between rivalries on sports teams is more condusive to voilent acts because its usually jock and sports related bullying in school that creates these dark social cliques people have to escape to. outlaw sports and well stop school shootings mark my words

By the way the red flag laws, and the internet privacy stuff that is being discussed if some of it passes im going to quit posting online. What we talk about here is full blown red flag law.
If I dont even feel comfortable speaking my mind online I think that's just one of the final acts of the end timse and I will be in colorado if you need me just meet up with me like in the stand.

Well it's not like I think anything we say here is going to change a law or something, but it's a discussion forum. I mean why discuss anything? Why do so many of us have thousands-long post counts?
I'm sitting on my ass eating a chicken sandwich talking about this cause I think it's an important topic and we kinda-sorta know one another a bit as far as internet strangers go and it's stimulating when people actually engage. Which does happen. I can definitely be a crankypants sometimes though and I do say "like" way too much, I honestly can't help it.

If we all had an open mind to others opinions and view points we'd be in a better place. Sadly we have people who rather trust fake information because it suits them better.

You know who I don’t like is that my pillow guy. A long time ago I heard him on the radio talking about his crack addiction and making the first my pillow all strung out with his son in the kid’s garage because he was living in flop houses. Now he’s influencing politics? Yikes man

So to recap: The dems still aren't offering any solution other than essentially "guns are bad". Meanwhile a gun stopped the guy from killing even more people. How do we solve that fundamental problem as a matter of public policy?
