Playing on a Blue server......

I've been playing here for a little bit now, coming from VZ back in the old days. Almost level 9 cleric (i level very, very slowly). So far it's been a good time, but I really do miss the pvp. In my CB group today we had a terrible mage that wouldn't summon pets and ninja looted all the belts. After a group member complained to me in tell, I asked the mage to please calm down with the looting. He acted like he didn't know what was going on, and kept doing it. So I kicked him out of group. Then he followed us around for a while spamming me and some others with tells.

"PLEASE let me back in!"
"The rogue was taking all the belts!"

It was like ugh. He was getting all angry and worked up, and I was prepared for him to train us. Luckily he didn't.

Point is: if we were on a pvp server, this would have actually been fun. When a random person in a pick up group acts a fef they get removed from group and then BEAT DOWN! He wouldn't have been following us around and begging to be let back in then. Maybe he would have trained us (being a fef and all), but I was afraid of that anyway.

lol and a while after all this happened, Amelinda made a broadcast that was like, "Remember players: don't cry to me about loot!" and we all like hmmmm........

but yeah. blue isn't so bad, but it's definitely missing something. already almost level 9 and there have been no reports of infamous twinks harassing the law-abiding newbs, no forming groups to attempt to take down said bad guys, and nothing interesting has been said in public chat. instead of

"omg i hate you x, you're a big meanie face and no one is ever going to exp with you because you killed me!"

it's

"anyone selling cb belts?"
"what level to warriors get dual wield?"
"wtb port"

It would just say "target" cause you would be at your bind spot without him on target most likely.

If you were on a pvp server, there would have been no CB group at all, because of the tiny, antisocial population.

VZ had thousands of players and a much less elitist playerbase but ok!

Eqemu pvp is very different from Live pvp. Here it's very difficult to find groups unless you belong to a clique. Not that I'm complaining, but it's one reason why pvp servers aren't very accessible here and why a pvp server other than red99 will most likely never have a very high population.
