First and only of a kind in the world, if I recall. Contrast that with the boondoggle that is the Ivanpah solar generation plant, and the solution is clear.

Is intel’s factory drawing power from that reactor? I’m curious because we have new semiconductor manufacturing in a state wi th no water (tons of water required for semiconductor manufacturing)

https://www.paloverde.com/ I'll dig around a bit later EDIT for what it's worth, its output is~32,000 GWh annually - that's more than thirty-seven (37) times the capacity of the Ivanpah facility ~850 KWh) on the CA/NV border , on around the same footprint (~4,500 - 5,000 acres) of pristine Mojave desert they wrecked and now blind everyone driving the 15.. oh and check out this CRAZY temperature inversion that I recorded a couple years ago, causing a nice dust storm- not to mention the cooked birds and 500,000,000 cu ft of natural gas it consumes just to start the turbines in the morning lol
