Here's some data: an 8 level difference inflates your warrior's dps massively, while fighting even level mobs with the charmed pet cripples its dps.

Prove it with data[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] At lower levels, level difference matters less. It's why you can solo yellow mobs during the lower levels, but typically not at higher levels.
