I kept a birds eye view on everything, the race went pretty well, the gnomes flooded out of steamfont at night and it was almost pitch black, even for a gnome!

eventaully they all made it to the dock in BB and there they sat for a good 5 minuets.

The TD boat went off, and one gnome whos name I forget went on them.

Soon the freeport boat arrived and off the gnomes went.

On the other side some handsome players waited including a wizard in all golden efreeti gear with a dragon helm.

and there they waited until BOOM GNOMES AT THE DOCK! and off they go!!!!!!

they split into 2 major groups, half turned left and went out through EFP and the otherhalf kept going straight, onto rivervale.

I went down to the montains of raith and waited to see whod be the first t ocome that way.

it was silent for quite a while then suddenly ONE gnome shows up in the feerrot, its the guy who went through TD!

he was a good 3 or 4 minuets ahead of pretty much everyone behind him, and off through the mountains he went.

From there I went to Qhills and by then it was apparent the path trhough rivervale was the way to go, ahead was a few gnomes i forget the names, but they started to trickle in.

Through the tunnel they wiggled their way, through the gnolls and the skeletons

at the perma ent a few gnomes started trickling into the tunnel, they made it past the first two giants no problem, but there a few all got to the corner about 4 or 5 all piled into one THEN ONE MADE A BREAK! but the giant was fast, and struck him to the ground, but while that happened another ran through! BOOTYLIsomthingor other was the name! AND on to fame as he became the gnome who ran from home to the throne.

That gnome on the TD boat was I, Furditik, and to clarify I was joined by Pinebottom who sadly fell to Cazel in Oasis. To be fair the southern route through Rathe mountains--> Lake Rathe--> South Karana proved to be so much slower than through Gorge or Highpass. I did however lead the pack that chose the southern route by almost a full zone and did end up at Permafrost, but probably closer to 7th to 8th place. Oh well - nothing beats being the lucky gnome through Runnyeye and Gorge. All in all it was a great race and Larry should get some big kudos for streaming it and helping bring this content to a wider audience.

Agreed. Honestly it felt needlessly cruel as well. Like with the person who was about to win getting sniped by that ice giant toward the very end. Like, seriously, people struggled and spent a lot of time to get that far, with that crowd of 60s waiting at the finish line...you all couldn't have just killed the damn giant?

This race honestly left me feeling really depressed, and the more I think about it the more I would have been better off if I had just died early in butcherblock or something. Make things quick, painless, and free of expectations. Wouldn't be surprised if there were also some backdoor dealings behind the scenes in favor of select people too. Probably the last one of these I will ever take part in.
nooOoOoOooooOooooo i feel heckin baderino because i lost even though knowing the risks

As we turned left in Freeport I wondered: Are the majority of us turning left to go to EC because: we know where we're going? Or are we just moving as a flock of birds?

I knew I had know Idea where i was going I was just trying to follow the group, but I wondered as we turned left, wtf are we going?

I am just surprised no one parked a level 1 PvP flagged gnome at BB docks with an Oil of Fennin Ro in inventory....
