I have this strange issue where i am getting almost everytime i am at firepots my client crashes with "reset device failed" the funny thing is, i can play for 15 hours straight in all other zones or even be in timorous deep raptors without any issues, but whenever i get to firepots, and especially when i go down towards the teleporters, i get reset device failed almost 50% of the time. I have been unable to isolate the issue to any certain location and it seems to happen at complete random, the only thing i have isolated is that the firepots location is the issue which i find really strange as i would more think it was a gpu driver issue but why would a certain area in the game trigger these issues when they never occur elsewhere in the game? So whats your ideas here? Its really annoying.

![]() Open the eq folder, the logs subfolder and dbg.txt (the debug log). Maybe it has clues.

![]() here's a log of the crash, it only happens at firepots in timorous deep though, no where else.

![]() Find somewhere else using speljb.png see if the error replicates.
Maybe try replacing that file? | ||

![]() I looked it up and that file seems to giving errors all the time on my client but not related to the actual crash that only happens in timerous, maybe next step is just to try a fresh client and start from there, hmm

Thanks! I did fiddle around with the settings and now i have not crashed at the firepots in all day, if i crash again i will check these settings to make sure i have them to false.

Any more ideas? Ive even tried a different system and the same thing happens there, but on that system i can do alt + enter to fullscreen the client and then it "unlocks" and then i just do alt+enter again and then it becomes windowed and i can continue to move around, on my primary machine i cannot alt enter without getting reset device failed but the same issue seems to only occur at the fire pots on both machines which is so strange to me.
