Honestly it sounds interesting, though I’d rather go to takp for the true PoP experience.
You shouldn't be able to train ppl if they keep in encounter locking on the new TLP.

Currently on live zone disruption and automation aren't ok. That includes training people. KSing and DPS racing is legal tho. It's particularly a thing in open world raids. However all classic raids are instance-able through the agents of change system which is very popular.

Automation and zone disruption aren't really a problem. Even tho it does happen. 90% of old EQers are cool and will happily help or share. It's not really fun to monopolize content.

Even if they don't implement encounter locking and took peoples suggestions on heirloom gear (no trade being tradeable for your own alts) it'll be a fun experience.

Having played with encounter locking. It's just not a big deal. It's definitely not perfect.

Perfect is letting everyone who participated get kill credit and roll on usable gear or drops. And free trade. And an EXP bonus for casuals to rapidly catch up so people don't need to grind 4 hrs a day to hit max lvl and AA.
