NPC Spawn Issue: Field of Bone: Human Bandits

Various posts about human bandits being present through Velious. Some specific mentions of people destroying the sashes and grinding Qeynos faction. I would guess that they were mistakenly added to the northwest beach and Warsliks zoneline areas in FoB with the Iksar Armor Quest patch and not removed until after Luclin release

EQ Atlas updated to specifically mention both "Iksar Bandits" and "Bandits". Added at the same time as the Iksar Armor Quest Mobs (added November 2000 Patch)

Can't pass up the opportunity to destroy a human life. I kill without regard for factin or loot on these guys it's pure entertainment. After looking at spiders then scorpions then sclalebones then burynai then giants and sarnaks its nice to see an itty bitty human ripe for killin lol.

Actually, they do! If you head toward the WW zone, you'll find one or two of them in the cleft of a
hill, near the beach. I always make it a point to smack 'em when I'm passing through, for the faction. Every little bit helps us leezards!

I always figured this spawn was a bug, but oh well.

YES there are I fought one at the entrance to the ruins when you go across FOB. Check I saw and killed one. They say time to die "your name". Of course their human.

There are bandits in Field Of Bone. they are found right above the Iksar bandit hideout. there are two of them and it seems one out of every 4 drop sashes.. which we Iksar just destroy, I used to hit them on way back from city before I went to Kurns. Why they spawn there I have no idea.

I would just like to ask how these human bandits got to Kunark? Well it's obvious they came here on boat but why the hell for?! anyways, their far left of the "pit" in the Field of Bone.

The best place to start would be right there in Field of Bone.
There is a human bandit camp there, in the northwest part of the
zone if memory serves. Killing these should raise faction with
Qeynos and Highpass guards.

I don't think there is a human bandit camp in FoB. There is sometimes a
solitary human bandit near the Warsliks Woods zone.

Ok they do spwan in FoB as a human!!!!!!!! there the iksar bandits but they like to stay in the pit i was walkin in the woods of FoB and then BOOM i see him a human bandit esay kill for a lvl 28 shammy killed him and i looted some rations , a tasty treat,

I don't think they spawn in Field of Bone anymore. I was hunting them there pre-Luclin and after Luclin, they didn't pop anymore. I had to start going into Kurns with my lizzy warrior. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

The ones there WERE on the same faction as the Karana bandits and they did drop sashes. Too bad Iksar is KOS in Qeynos, or I'd be considerably wealthier and more well liked there if I could have turned in all my sashes.

Heh, heh. I was one of the people who reported that little bug. Also the one about the female elf bandits that vanished when killed rather than dropping a lootable corpse.

It pissed me off, though, when they removed the bandits from Field of Bone. They served no real purpose there, but I was camping them and levelling for a few days, then I log in and no bandits. I then wait and wait and still no bandits. Then I find out they're gone for good and have to go level in Kurns.

The Bandits are listed for Field of Bone... I remember when I started to play EQ more than two years ago, there really were two bandits in FoB, hiding in the hills near the pit at height of Kurn's Tower. They were quite annoying cause some of them were casters and I remember them well for rooting me and nuking me to death.

But a long time has passed since then and still I sometimes return to Field of Bone to hand some spare loot to young Iksar and often I have returned to where the Bandits used to spawn but they aren't there anymore for a long, long time now.

So I really doubt that they still spawn in Field of Bone.
