Pro-tip: you can groom people to be rational. It's called teaching them numbers and fractions. Old math joke. Reason is = ratio = the ability to see parts and whole, in proportion. Comedy = exaggerating these proportions. Sadly, so does madness.

So, it is not that trannies can't be discussed, or folks with low-N problems, I would imagine, but that we must seek reason in our conversations.

Reason is not always civil, but leads to a type of civility, whereas the civil in and of itself is not always rational. I cast my ballot with reason.
