Talismans and superstition is really bad when we rely only on them and go to them instead of G-d.

We should not rely on a talisman or magic or witchcraft to ward off evil. This one 🧿 isn't so bad though. Or this one 🙈.

G-d knows I'm terrible.

🙈🙉🙊 is really no different than Bhudda's first principles.

I value Christianity because it distills spiritual teach down to some simple I and many others can relate to without having to guess about superstitions or be mislead in some ritual with an actual demon taking interest. The taboo against superstition is there to keep us on the right path.
